Ashley + Michael | Bright Spring Wedding at Front and Palmer

Ashley and Mike had such a classic Philadelphia wedding, getting ready at the Loews Hotel in center city, with portraits at the gorgeous garden at the Rodin Museum with a bit of a punch having their ceremony and reception at Front and Palmer! Ashley's bright yellow sunflower bouquet added a pop of color to the Philadelphia landscape and against Mike's custom navy blue suit.

They also blended both their families traditions to make their wedding day more personal. They were married by both a rabbi and reverend under a chuppah. And both families LOVED dancing! They had a super fun horah, and Ashley and her Dad had one of the most amazing Latin inspired father/daughter dance I've ever seen!

Ashley and Mike, thank you so much for having me capture such a fun and beautiful wedding day this past May!

Julia + Dave | West Chester, Pennsylvania Horse Farm Engagement Session

I absolutely love the free spirited vibe Julia and Dave brought to their engagement session! Keristin photographed these two (along with their horses and pups!) barefoot at their family home. They walked through some beloved corners of their property as the sun was low in the sky in the late afternoon on a warm summer evening just after a summer rainstorm passed through.

Keristin can't wait capture their wedding day right here on their farm in less than a month!

Abd + Nurin | East Meets West Wedding Inspiration | Hotel Du Village, New Hope, Pennsylvania

When styling Abd and Nurin’s wedding inspiration our goal was to create blend their cultures and traditions- we took parts of Nurin and Abd’s traditions from Egyptian and Lebanese weddings and mixed them with some European inspired decor details. We wanted something unique and modern, yet pay tribute to their religion and traditions. We added touches like a prayer rug station for guests, henna for Nurin, and a bar with tea and Middle Eastern sweets like baklava and maamoul. We styled their sweetheart table against Hotel du Village’s black and white tile floor with lush exotic greenery like monstera, palms, and birds of paradise, resembling a feeling of luxurious Turkish bathhouses.

Abd and Nurin met at a family camp 5 years ago. Abd knew from the moment he met Nurin that she had an incredible energy and genuine kindness about her and fell madly in love. Nurin, however, felt differently at first. She always imagined herself with someone calm and serious to balance her crazy personality...which Abd was not. Nurin is thankful that Abd was persistent and they became friends over the next 4 years and one day Nurin opened her heart to Abd and they quickly became best friends and engaged. They both are looking forward to traveling the world  and raising a healthy, culturally diverse family together.

Both Abd and Nurin are from different cultures. Abd’s father was born in Lebanon, originally from Palestine while his mother is from Seattle with Northern European Roots. Nurin’s parents grew up in Egypt but are originally from Harar, Ethiopia with roots from Yemen.

Intimate Bold Spring Wedding at Schuylkill Center

Amanda and Tim were married on a spring day at the Schuylkill Center. They both got ready at their home in South Philadelphia (with their kitties!) and exchanged vows with their families and friends under the trees. Amanda's unique and bold vintage look was inspired by Carmen Miranda. The florals and invitations were made by the bride and groom.

Photographed by my associate photographer, Keristin.

Chic Spring Wedding at American Swedish Historical Museum

Carolyn and Josh had the perfect spring Philadelphia wedding at the American Swedish Historical Museum. After getting ready at the Courtyard Marriott at the Navy Yard, the two headed to the museum for their first look along with their bridal party of their closest friends. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the lawn of the museum and then celebrated in an outdoor tented space dancing the evening away to the best tunes on a playlist Josh had put together. The American Swedish Museum was the perfect setting for their wedding, giving a vintage element to Carolyn's chic and modern ones to allow for a romantic and classic day.

Jen + Zach's Philly Engagement Session

Jen and Zach had such the perfect summer engagement session. They're having a winter wedding in January, so having their engagement photos be warm and sunny will be such a wonderful juxtaposition to their chilly celebration! These two are super active and love running, so the Schuylkill River trail was the perfect place to capture their love since they frequently run their together!

Congrats on your engagement you two- I can't wait for your wedding at the Crystal Tea room this winter! Engagement Ring by LPriori Jewelry

Lacey and Peter's Intimate Camp Innabah Wedding in the Woods

Before Lacey and Peter celebrated their marriage with all their friends and family, they wanted to have a small and intimate ceremony at Camp Innabah, where the two first met. They both were campers here and then continued on to work as staff at the camp, so the camp is so meaningful to their characters and their relationship. They were surrounded by only their immediate family and closest friends as they shared their vows and promises to one another. These two are so loving and patient and it was such a joy to capture such a memorable day in their lives.

Carly & Themis' Timeless New York City Brooklyn Heights Engagement Session

I'm a huge fan of color. Color changes the mood of a session, tells the story of the season, the time of day. But there's something so timeless about a black and white image in New York City. Carly and Themis has such a classic look to them, I thought that sharing some of my favorite black and white images from their session mixed with a couple color images to really allow Carly's bright pink dress to pop would be a fun way to showcase their engagement shoot!

We had such a wonderful time walking around one of their favorite neighborhoods, Brooklyn Heights, on a beautiful spring afternoon. We walked and laughed through old cobblestone street and captured views of Manhattan's skylines and the Brooklyn Bridge! I can't wait to capture their wedding day at the Liberty House in Jersey City this October!
