Liz + Bill
parque at ridley creek, newtown square, pennsylvania
Even though it was a scorcher of an evening, Liz and Bill totally rocked their engagement session. We met at the Parque mansion just as the sun was setting on Ridley Creek State Park. As soon as I arrived the sun was beaming through a line of trees in the garden and I knew it was going to be an amazing shoot.
Liz wore a fiery red dress that had a long flowing skirt which perfectly caught the sunlight, while Bill kept it simple in black and white to complement her look. We started in the garden area, soaking in every ounce of sunlight we could which made the red of Liz's dress pop so well against the greenery that surrounded us. We then moved down the steps making our way over to the mansion which is covered in the most beautiful organic stones. On the way over to the mansion I realized that my shirt was starting to become saturated in sweat, it was that hot of a day! But, Liz and Bill managed to keep their cool and look amazing, even as we made our way up the thickly covered grass hill that led us to a sun soaked field. The tall grass in the field lit up as Bill led Liz through the brush (she was such a trooper going through that in heels!). It was all worth it in the end though. Finishing in that glowing warm sunlight was the perfect romantic ending for their summer session.
