Emma and Steve were married on a warm summer day at the end of June in their hometown of Ithaca at the Ithaca Farmers Market. It was clear how much love surrounded them on their day as friends and families all pitched in to make each element of their day special and unique. Steve's sister, Erin, designed and printed a custom invitation suite along with chalkboards. Friends helped assemble a chuppah (using the same cloth Emma's parents got married under!) for Emma and Steve's ceremony. Erin and friends even helped to create a coloring book for guests to take home, each page custom designed by various friends for Emma and Steve. The coloring book was a total surprise to these two, so the joy on their faces as they flipped through each page was priceless! There was even a potluck element to their cocktail hour where guests brought their favorite dishes for noshing before dinner from local AGAVA restuaunt was served.
Before heading to the Ithaca Farmers Market, Steve and Emma got ready together in their home with their moms and sisters (and adorable pup, Maizey, and cat, Frisco!) The simple act of Steve helping Emma into her dress and Emma assisting with Steves tie and jacket was such a sweet and intimate gesture as these two got ready on their wedding day.
Ithaca Farmers Market was the most perfect spot for a summer wedding and especially one where Emma and Steve could add their own personalized touches to it and that was so meaningful to this couple as they began this next chapter of their lives together!
